That is simple bench the guy which he deserves to be and play Kelechi. I therefore wont have anything to moan about my point in Bony being shite will be proven when Kelechi starts doing what a striker is supposed to do and put the ball in the back of the net.

I know it hurts to be wrong on a player but we've all had one of the many years that we wanted so desperately to be the one. Unfortunately for you yours has been in the calibre of Rodwell and Sinclair in signings of recent years.

The difference is I am prepared to wait for Bony to get a fair crack of the whip before declaring him unfit for us, and unfit for us being the words I would use. He is a proven PL scorer but you however, chose to jump in with both feet engaging your fingers without brain input. Your choice of words are imature, but I suspect after being "off line" for a while, you just wanted your 5 mins of fame.

Yeh that's fine. Let's play Bony in the FA Cup games, etc, and let Kelechi play the home-away games, as the latter has shown so much more competence and creativity when he has had the chance. Once Bony retrieves his form, slowly put him back into the first team.

You are allowed your point as this is a forum but when you type something like this "and his mother dying" then your point is not valid. You have picked that false information up from a post that was made during this thread where assumptions were made.

Fortunately for Wilfried his Mother did not pass away. However he did suffer the sad loss of his Grand Mother.

I don't think it's a case of a desire to have someone to rip into. I find it extremely frustrating watching bony play, I don't think he is any good (my opinion). I agree must be hard dealing with the death of you mam, but if your heads not right don't play. I am in the group of fans who would prefer to see Kelechi or other youngsters get a decent amount of game time and go down that road.

sometimes I wonder if its because we are so used to seeing Aguero do his thing when other strikers take to the pitch in blue and don't play that bulldog type style of playing we don't like them.

@Kippaxman, so he's dealt with death of his grand mother, had a bad ankle injury, AFCON and Maleria in 9 months at City.
He has a better than 1 goal in every 2 starts in the Prem yet you can't give him a run of games before calling for him to be binned off. Great idea, let's add a total loss of confidence to a player clearly rated by people more qualified than you or I. That's would be a great way to get the best from him.

You're right, don't give him anytime, don't even let him play with Silva, just bin him off. Pathetic mate, truly pathetic.

You're not only wrong in what you're saying, you're idiotic. If you think a club who have spent £25 million on a proven goal scorer are going to ruin his confidence because he's only scored 2 in 3 league starts you are deluded. Every ex pro, pundit, manager even Sunday league player will tell you strikers need time.

Like it or not, he's our only proven PL striker fit for another month. He will and should play in all our big games. I will give him time, if you don't want to give him time, give a fair crack then good for you, I personally will give him a season. Sagna, Fernado, Otamendi, Mangala all slagged way too early and I haven't seen many eating humble pie, not that I have an issue with you, but for the good of City and the kid himself I hope you eat large slices of humble pie and I'd hope you'd enjoy it. My bet, you wouldn't.

For what it's worth, I do believe Iheanacho will start tonight and will be fantastic for City. His potential more exciting than Bony, but I beieve Bony will be a better Dzeko, equivilent to Negredo on form. He just needs time.

to be honest I would play nacho in the usual formation to see how he suits it , weve seen a glimpse of bony in that system,and apart from the united match where a few players didn't do themselves justice he's done ok, give nacho a go and see if he fairs any better

This and only this. Don't get all the stick he is getting for having a couple of off games this season. Think Bony has alot to show us yet, i really do. But I think for this game, i'd give nacho a run round and see what he can do...if he does well...then maybe give him more than 4 bloody minutes on the pitch in the league!
