Whether people on here like him or not, or think he is the right man for the team, too slow, all that kind of stuff is fair argument but any City fan who can watch Bony play & some of the sublime skills he has produced even so far in a City shirt, & describe that as being 'a donkey' is absolutely clueless fucking knobhead who really should take up watching a different sport & stop embarrassing his or her self by commenting on football.
Clearly there are some here who demand instant success and have already forgotten where we have come from.
I just can't get over the concept of slagging your own players off, especially when they haven't been given the chance to prove themselves. It smacks of raggyism!

This - for all we know he may turn into a City legend. The fact that we don't play to his strengths certainly does not help, and it's funny that the skill in a player we so much asked for the last few seasons, hold up play and ball control, we tend to ridicule when Bony does it.

Well that's it it's now official.

He's been here 10 months and he's already reached the 'well he's not as shit as Lee Bradbury, remember where we have come from' stage. I'm surprised it's come so soon after the pretending he had a good game because he did this one thing in the first half that was pretty decent stage.

Means fuck all when you play shite and hardly score tho right? All I hear about dzeko is he looks disinterested he has a bad touch blah blah blah yet he still scored goals and he arguably won us the title 2 seasons ago
Fuck me, it comes to something when you don't even realise that the fucking halfwit you've quoted is actually in agreement with you.
And sometimes he even looks interested in the game.
You've a dreadful whiff about you, squire.

The problem is probably Aguero, there is no one better, so whoever we have as a backup is going to have to sit out a lot of games and that's not good for a striker. Just need to keep Aguero fit

Thing is he will be polishing the bench with his arse he's that good when Sergio is fit again, he doesn't fit the system we play , all this talk that Sergio is the best in the world so it's okay to be sub standard doesn't wash, if we start lumping it upfront and looking for touches of headers championship style then he may just make it, thing is I can't see City changing the style of play to suit him, nor can you see us playing two strikers on a regular basis anytime soon. Kelechi has had a couple of seasons at youth level learning the City way- sadly for Bony he hasn't had that benefit, he will only get game time when Sergio is injured.

Kelechi should be given his chance to cement his number two place , he has pace , is a poacher in the box and is prepared to run at a defence , Bony needs it teeing up for him , he offers little to this team , Kelechi has enough in him to play across the whole line behind the striker on the shoulders of defenders.

Says it all when one of your senior players in Yaya has a frustration fit cos the player he is playing with is nowhere near good enough to grace the same team, or, when the best player of the season, KDB, looks at the bench in disgust, as if to say why the fuck is this player on the pitch, after firing in a cross towards the front post that any Sunday league striker wouldve gambled on.
Bony can't trap a bag of cement, he's off target more than a skud missile, if we put a red nose on him it would complete his look, and he has a head like a sheriffs badge.

Worst signing of our recent history. 28m spent on a turd!

I don't mind criticism, there's no defending him on the back of Sunday's performance, he's struggling to make an impact but i don't get the need to come out with this bollox. We spent £25m+ add ons on the PL's highest goal scorer in 2014. Wind it in.

Terrible post.

Maybe Bony isn't up to the required level, maybe he's just having a moment of very poor forum. Either way the kind of bollocks which ends with "Worst signing of our recent history" deserves short shrift. You're normally a very good and level headed poster Ricster so don't take my criticism personally.

Just try and be a little more objective and try not lampooning a player who we have to rely on for the next few weeks. Believe it or not the negativity towards players seeps from the internet and social media into the Etihad itself on match days. We don't need that at present.

I only watched the match late last night mate, so for me this is like late Sunday night or early Monday morning, as I was somewhere over the Inidian Ocean. I think the fact that other players are now starting to share the frustration it speaks volumes. Yep, I agree maybe I do open my mouth and allow my passion to spill out. Remember the James Milner is a mercenary thread? I got slated for that, and whatever way you want to look at it some people will say I was right or wrong, same with this. Unfortunately we have sold 3 strikers in the past year, all which are better than the one we have replaced them with.
I don't blame Bomy, I blame the idiot who scouted and signed him. Doesn't fit our style of play at all, as some have mentioned, would be far more suited to a 4-4-2, whic I believe cost us the title last season, and now we play a different formation. Bony is getting the backlash for our managers tactical naivety and while it's unfortunate, if he isn't performing then he will continue to get both barrels.
I am trying to refrain on Pellers at the moment but in my opinion he should not be the manager of our club, but with our hierarchy putting all their eggs in the Pep basket, Pellers will get both barrels and a very lengthy post from me when he leaves, or is sacked, which I am personally in shock that it hasn't already happened. In the short Pellers is nothing but a glorified, overseas version of Mark Hughes.
