Oh yeah don't get me wrong not saying I disliked what he did at all. Just a couple you'd expect him to put away, the one that Dinho reacted to & stuck in & one where him & Yaya played a one-two & he put wide where I expected him to score.

I like that he's willing to shoot, isn't put off by missing - just saying I feel he's a better striker of the ball than he's shown in the last few games & sooner rather than later when he finds that shooting form again he'll be a real handful.

No I didn't think you were criticising, just saying I think he did actually connect with a few quite nicely & I like the fact he was having a go.

For all the positives Edin brought to us, we wouldn't have seen that sort of performances from him.

Bony absolutely bullied them. His hold up play, work rate and passing was second to none. Had a couple of blocked shots which were unlucky but overall that was brilliant.

Not sure what they feed people in the Ivory Coast, but he's ridiculously strong. Great game tonight, holding people off with ease, bringing people into the games and making all the right runs in the box. Got a bit unlucky that a couple of simple passes to him for shooting chances were player behind him, otherwise he could easily have had a hattrick, but he took his goal very clinically and did pretty well to dig out the shot for the second goal as quickly as he did with the man about to stick a boot in. Pretty much everything you want from a proper striker tonight, I've been saying it for a while but when he properly finds his shooting boots he's going to be an absolute monster.

Well done Wilf, fine game tonight. That 3rd goal was my favourite. That's the sort of composure that brings goals.

Feel slightly vindicated in defending him, that's what he can offer when he's on it. Hopefully it's a springboard for a great run and then a lot will be eating humble pie.

My sentiments exactly
