He's probably been injured more for us in the last 3 months than in the last 3yrs put together! He's just not clicking is he. I thought he could be a good player for us but as time goes on, his egg timer is running lower and lower on sand I fear.
I like to be patient with new signings and give them a chance but if there's rumours from YaYa he may be a bit slack, then FFS.

After watching the Sevilla game against RM earlier, I wonder if they saved themselves a bit for that. We went from a dream team CL performance to that rubbish today

Fatigue played a huge factor in today's performance and rubbish would be very harsh in describing the Aston Villa game.

Can't believe how much stick he's getting for a game in which he got injured and went off half way through the first half. Seems like some ridiculous scapegoating. Some seem desperate for him to fail

The sad thing is I can believe it.

I don't think Bony is right for City and the way we want to play. Not about yesterday but about all the games he's played. His first touch, speed of thought, and movement are not good enough. In most games he is a passenger, even when he has gone 'well' eg sevilla his performances are only what I would consider average. We are not going to be able to have backups of Aguero quality, but we do need better than this.

I fear Bony is turning out like Dzeko. Fine strikers who will still do a job in a system that isn't playing to their strengths and great ones when in a team that does.

Neither have the touch and mobility we seem to need. It's unfair on them to ask either to be Aguero.

If Bony was in half the other teams in the Premiership he'd be back to being a beast.

Wasn't he signed at a time when Pellers favoured two up front? On form with Swansea, he was probably a reasonable gamble.

Injury and illness got in the way of pairing them and time has now moved on. I'm not convinced by what I've seen but am happy to suspend judgement until the end of the season.

Maybe we do have room for two elite strikers as Kun - much as we adore him - reminds us once again that he is a recurring sick note.
