When we signed Bony he had better numbers than Vardy. He was thought of as one of the most clinical finishers in the Prem.
Whilst I'm happy for Vardy having his moment in the sun, it's no guarantee he'd come here and not end up in a similar situation to Wilf.

I'd still like us to do some business in the January window to rectify the decision that's left us short of numbers in the striker position.

Can't decide if wilf will make it with us or not to be honest. Has an amazing first touch and hold up play, but has zero pace and needs 6 good chances to get a goal which could cost us in the future

My memory might be a little hazy, but from what i remember, Bony had a very similar strike rate to Negredo, so I don't think he's ever been clinical.
