How can you understand his frustration? He didn't start one game when we have our best striker back in an important game and immediately complains to the press. Kelechi has had 1 start in the Prem, snubbed for an extra midfielder and subbed on incredibly late despite impressing every time he's been on the field. Not once had Kelechi complained publicly to the press and instead has positive words to say while Bony complains at his first opportunity.

Not the sort of character I want at this club.

Good point about Kelechi. However, Aguero is having a shocker of an injury affected season, the Newcastle game aside. Bony should have started given his recent goal scoring form.

Nothing wrong with what he's said in my eyes. Everyone wants to play and he's just been benched for a player that was nowhere near fit enough to play. People would be claiming he's happy to just sit on the bench and pick up his wages every week if he wasn't upset at being dropped for an unfit player. Not to mention he's got a manager not utilising his strengths properly. Bony is a better footballer than Giroud, both of their games are reasonably similar, look how Arsenal use him and compare that to how we use Bony. It's no wonder he's not performing.

You'd think they'd want to impress and play for their jobs then

Not really. One is a teenager happy to just be there, the other has 8 goals and half a dozen assist this season and had to watch Aguero play when he clearly shouldn't have been out there because he simply wasn't fit.

People can say Bony doesn't suit us, but Aguero was largely useless yesterday and when Bony plays the ball ends up in the back of the net some how.

I suspect Iheanacho has probably just moved ahead of Bony in the pecking order. Can't imagine Pellegrini will take kindly to public dissent from a player, and particularly an underperforming one at that.

I expect this will lead to a spell off the bench, if Jovetic's outburst following his exclusion from the CL squad last season is anything to go by.

Aguero is fit though, it's not like he'd be starting anyway for the next....2 weeks or so going by our luck this season.

I posted that in the Guardiola thread with reference to the entire squad. God only knows how you've interpreted and quoted it in the Bony thread.

I'm not a Bony boo boy but Giroud is able to do that because he plays in a team where Ramsey will run past him, Walcott and Sanchez will run in behind.

KDB, Silva, Sterlig aren't like that (don't know why sterling isn't running in behind, but he's not). We need him to fit our system not Arsenal's.

He needs to lose weight. He's not fat, but he's carrying a ton of excess bulk and it's made him completely immobile. I saw a photo of when he was at Swansea and he's noticeably got bigger - probably due to the injury lay offs and having to spend the Sumer in he gym not on tour playing football. But he needs to lose it and move a bit more if he wants to stay here. I genuinely think he can be a good back up, but he's gonna need to adapt a bit.

Uh yeah, sorry about that, in not sure how I managed that either, was supposed to be replying to the person who was talking about Kalechi not complaining about being benched.

Whether he's in the right or not is besides the point, he should never have come out with that publicly least yet against a manager who has given him more than his fair share of (unwarranted) opportunities. It highlights an awful attitude and it probably explains why Kelechi doesn't start games because Wilfried clearly has a bit of an ego.

See ya Wilf....close the door behind you as you go

Your performanes s8nce aguero has been injured simply havent been good enough snd numerous of your goals have been extremely lucky.

Kelechi deserves a start ahead of you

Never will be good enough and has shown nothing to make me believe he ever will do

With regards to fitting in our system, we haven't got a system, that's the problem, we constantly ask him to replicate Aguero's game, Bony isn't a dribbler. We knew what we were getting when we signed him, so we obviously bought him with the aim of having that different option yet Sevilla away aside, we've never set up to play to his strengths. We don't pump balls into the box and ask Aguero to get on the end of it or launch long balls upto him and expect him to win headers and hold the ball up yet we expect Bony to do the things Aguero specialises in.

My point about Giroud is Arsenal realised a few years ago that they need an alternative to their passing football, they never used to put crosses in the box much like us now but then they signed Giroud and have developed their game to play on his strengths without totally changing their style or team, We should be doing the exact same when Bony plays, we've got players who can play off him, in sterling, KDB and Silva yet when we clear the ball to him there's never anybody running off him, we've got players capable of putting in good crosses yet don't do it.

I hope he survives long enough for a new manager to come in, i genuinely believe he can be a real asset for us under a manager that knows how to use him. Hopefully, Peps coming and he'll already be consulted on who he wants to keep. We'll regret it if we cut our losses on him without giving him a chance playing to his strengths.

He shouldn't be saying anything of this nature, end of, & has probably just signed his own City death warrent. He's right of course. aguero is giving the opposition a free ride & not even challenging for the ball, it's pathetic. But it's not upto Bony to say so.

But it also shows all the fucking know it all, twerps on here, who think that players are like robots & are all happy with Pellegrini's decisions, & that everyone at 'the club' is certain to be in agreement wit him on everything, & that they have superior knowledge of this, compared to eveyone else, just how fucking clueless they actually are.

It isn't the bed of fucking happy clappy roses you titheads think it is.

But that doesn't excuse Bony letting the public know about it. He'll be gone.
