as far as i can remember Dzeko never moan publicly about his playing time, when always come as a supersub and score every time he brought in. with limited times he takes his chances, unlike Bony demand to play most of the time (while holding Kelechi progression) just to prove that he can score. you are full of shit bony.

Transfer window coming up?

I feel sorry for him, he's had a lot of bad luck at City. Especially when his pre season was ruined by malaria. I also was surprised that Aguero started, seemed like a panic choice. But sometimes it just doesn't work out for players at a particular club. Perhaps best for both club and player to accept that and let the player move on.

agreed....

I will keep bony this season, especially with no one else available. And the less said about aguero's fitness and what problems come with that

Not his biggest fan by any means, but without his contribution since October we could well be playing on Thursday nights and might be out of the top four. Whilst going public is perhaps not the best option, imagine how many pages the thread would be at if he'd been overheard saying the opposite? That he was happy to take the cash and stay on the bench! We all know that Aguero takes games to look fit and starting Bony wouldn't have been unreasonable.

There's a fair bit of revisionism that goes on when it comes to Dzeko. He scored some vital goals for us, and I'm not sure we should've sold him when we did as we're now short of attacking options.

The suggestion that he never complained or sulked is a bit much though. Indeed, many of the criticisms aimed at Bony (poor first touch, not clinical enough, lazy, slow etc) were all levelled at Dzeko too during his time here.

I'd have some sympathy with him if during his last game - Swansea - he'd actually worked hard, sorry worked a bit! Apart from the header he wandered about until taken off and didn't press any of their defenders - giving them a hold on the game and allowing them to pass from the back too easily. To be honest his work rate this season is nothing short of abysmal. Concentrate on playing to your capabilities then start complaining. His movement off the ball is sadly lacking, and despite having undoubted talent, it is only his work rate that means he will be second choice, especially when Sergio is fit.

Needs to get his head down, work hard and stop missing sitters. Put his frustration into good performances on the pitch. He's not had the best of luck with City, but he's missed absolute sitters that other strike options we've been blessed with in recent times wouldn't have. The amount of times the ball has been pulled back for him and he's failed to score is ridiculous. He got lucky against Monchengladbach because he fudged his first effort wide but got a lucky rebound he could slot in.

Still think he can play a role for City, he's big and powerful and will be a good option for us but we need to work out how to play him. It hasn't helped that he's been with a new look midfield for much of him time and hasn't spent a lot of time with the magician pulling strings for him.
