I tend to agree but I don't see him as quite the misfit that many do. He's not ideal as a lone striker but he does drop deep and link play well at times in formations like yesterday's, where Sterling was the most advanced player. He is also a great option off the bench when you need to hold the ball up.

I agree but the problem imo is that we have no replacement for Aguero & if we sign a genuine one he has to play, even sometimes in place of Aguero. I don't see how we can allow this Aguero situation to continue in the future without taking action. That leaves Bony as a bit of a spare part if Kelechi comes through as expected.

Dzeko helped win us titles but wasn't scoring last season. Bony is scoring & if we win the title this season he will have played a big part & done Aguero's job for a decent part of it, as did Dzeko in the past.

Why the fuck anyone would be on here moaning about him when we've just won 4-1 & he's scored a beauty, is seriously baffling.

It's fashionable to dislike him at the moment Nev. Haters gonna hate, it will Jesus/YaYa/Mangala/Kolarov (* delete as appropriate) next week....

I thought he played well yesterday, but will be lacerated for his two bad misses. I actually think he's starting to tick along quite nicely, and can keep improving, which can only he good in our current circumstances

He will start again at Leicester with Kun coming on in the second half. I would expect but we do need to get minutes into Kun asap. I think Bony or any striker coming in will always have a bit part while Kun is about. IF we revert back to a 4-4-2 which could happen during this season then he will get more game time. but we would have to drop Yaya , and 1 of Sterling , KDB or Silva to make that sytem work out. I think whoever is in charge next season will have a huge decision to make on a few players at the club. I dont see a lot of major changes but it will be a big rebuilding job to sort out.

Sure.
But would first wait for you to explain why a player with the same stats as bony (worse if you account for assists) despite playing in a team set up for his strengths, with inferior ball hold-up ability, lesser track record prior to this season is worth 30mn more.
Apart from the wank facts...are you actually going to tell us how Bony is better than Lukaku? I'm eagerly awaiting this. What with others using the excuse that Bony was top scorer in the calendar year for a shit club, what does Lukjaku have to do to be considered ok on this rich vein of form we currently find him in? So far, you've asked me for my opinion, and offered me nothing back.

What's yours then? Bring up your amazing tactical astuteness, please. I'm still watching yesterday's game and I haven't seen an ounce of Bony doing anything other than score a header that Wayne Clarke could have.
I am watching it back now and he did much better than you accept for some reason

No it was bread and butter. Glancing header. You strike me as the type of person who believes a pundit when he says "that's world class" when someone scores from a standard volley.
