So it's the fans fault that he blazes a no pressure penalty 4 foot over the bar is it?
That he blazes another one into row Z from 6 yards out also?
That he appears to be constantly at least a yard off the pace
and he has the first touch of a concrete mixer?
And we have a highly talented kid in the squad who looks to be the real deal
but can't get any game time because the stubborn, inflexible manager we have thinks
he has justify the £28m outlay of a duck egg?
OK then.

How come you don't mention Bony's goal? Do you support City!

This is a genuine question since your posts seem to focus on disliking Bony!

Of course he missed a penalty and he should have got the later chance on target. That said, Bony is on a good goal scoring run!

On the chance he missed from 5 yards, ball wouldn't drop quick enough and he ended up snatching at it. I've seen a lot worse and besides the linesman had flagged anyway.

I noticed that too with the chance from 5 yards. The ball stalled in the air a bit with the wind!

When players can hear their own supporters getting on their backs, it can certainly affect their game adversely; especially if it is persistent. City have always had an element of its support that seems to have to have scapegoats in every team down the years. This may apply at all clubs but I wish it didn't at City. You see it in the attitude of plenty of posters on this forum.

We are all entitled to criticise and even express dissatisfaction at games in moments of high emotion but I often think the crowd at the Etihad is more of a hinderance than a help, which is a great pity.

FWITW, I lost my rag with Bony at one point in the game on Saturday, which I regret, but that was a rare outburst and I will continue to support him and hope that he can produce his best form, becuase I think we are yet to see it.

Some people don't rate Bony as good enough for City, some don't think he fits in. All worthy discussions.

Your post however isn't discussing Bony's lack of confidence or his ability. It's just a pointless attack on the player & whether he's good enough, suitable or confident enough for City he isn't anywhere even close to being as bad as you are making out, by any possible stretch of the imagination & has proven that already for Swansea, & for City.

If he actually was as bad as you say, then I wouldn't want him anywhere near the team, nor would anyone else.

That was what for me ranting on Saturday and replays showed that the reaction was harsh but I was still thoroughly pee'd off by his truly woeful penalty and, nowt to do with Wilf, wound up over VK.

No excuses for the penalty miss, it was woeful, just as bad as Kolarov's against Norwich. Almost as bad as Aguero's v Barca and then there was Tevez, his penalties were often shit too.

Why did he find himself a yard behind the defence? ( not 5 yards like you stated btw ) it was because he won the initial header to clear and was on his heels, he jogged back out as quick as anyone else but didn't quite make the line in time.

This.

Too slow out but course Aguero wouldn't have that problem ws he would be doing absolutely fuck all in that situation. Bony is getting shit for helping our shit defence, defend, when they all rush out blindly, put no pressure on the ball, & allow it to travel, ALONG THE GROUND, straight through the centre, afer Silva passes it to them & Fern turns his back on the pass!

Some folks single out Bony's part in it. Which highlights how the current situation is for him, at City.
