Bony is symptomatic of City as a whole this season. Flat track bully that isn't cutting it vs top tier opposition. I'm not saying Bony doesn't deserve to be at City (after all a club can't have a world class starter and a world class backup without one getting upset). But he's a midtable striker through and through. Moving from Swansea to City? He'd have been better off going to Spurs or Everton etc; a club around that level. Thing is, what does he bring to the team besides good holdup play? He's not even much of an aerial threat nowadays.

Not hating, just wondering.

It's nothing to do with sentiment ffs, it's about SUPPORT, I realise fro the tone of your post this concept may be alien to you.

Well said. It is also about fairness.

If Proelia is talking about the separate issue of sympathy then big Clubs do look after their players. Look at Eric Abidal during his illness at Barca!

you win the biggest blue of the week award kippaxman
perhaps in my next life i won't nearly die in a car accident and become to disabled to travel
I watch every game live and then watch them back so i can well see what bony offers
For a grown man to be so invested in one thread to slag a player off is well weird

Is that the Spurs who are above us in the table?

I heard he was following Olham in the Kippax days!!

Offering size and a decent first touch isn't enough to justify your place in a team like ours
It goes a long way though, doesn't it?

But it'd be the interplay, attacking runs and goals that also add to his game, and why we have paid good money for him to come to City.

You can tell certain players thrive off a player like Bony being on the pitch - most notably KDB and Yaya.

Bony is the 2015 version of Benjani and Jo.ne

Simply not good enough. Lacking technique is not a confidence issue I'm afraid.
A few weeks back ,our centre forward had Malaria.its a tough disease.it can kill.it def.drains your energy.does not make you feel like running around for 90 mins twice a week.
The press barely mentioned it.
imagine if wayne rubesch caught Malaria.imaginethe media spin.you would never hear the last of it.all over the papers blah.colleeen in tears and his dad who was up on the match fixing charges(oops!) would be at his bedside, spouting bollocks.

Bony should really have had a three month break from professional football.
there was no way that would have been allowed to happen in the modern game.
he was needed.at City.who only had two fit strikers left.
Bony,is perhaps not functioning at his best, but i , for one appreciate the guy is alive.and and not dead.
put his body on the line for Manchester City.perhaps if he had cancer everyone would grieve and give him some space.
no.it was Malaria.trivial.get on with it son.

You go to the games yet you still post that that was the first goal that wasn't laid on a plate for him? What exactly do you be watching? He scored from a header against Palace earlier in the season that he done brilliantly to get anything on nevermind score. His first goal for the club in fact he flicked the ball over his shoulder, turned and prodded home.

Obviously you are talking about the Capital One cup game because if I recall Iheanacho scored the winner at Palace in the league earlier on this year which got us the three points. Yes I remember that as I was there and the away end went mental.
As for his goal in the Capital one the 5-1 close game he was still overshadowed by the harder working Iheanacho.
