Spot on but these new breed of fans can not see it.

Oh so we're back to the bollocks of people thinking their opinion is validated by the fact that they're pre-takeover fans? Check mate I guess...

What the fuck do you actually want to get out of your incessant crying about Bony? He's in our squad and the transfer window is closed so you'll have to wait to send your angry yet eloquent letter to Txiki. Or are you one of those 'told you so' types that just gets off on slagging off our players before sitting back and hoping they don't work out so you can let everyone know how smart you are?

What happened to 'fans' of our club just getting behind the players and being desperate to see them fight their way through a bad patch?

He has way more in his game than Dzeko, another player who had a very patchy start for us. And nobody is making out he is going to challenge Aguero for the first team spot but he has a use and will be needed this season. Yes some of our fans over hype him, as they do other players, but earlier you said he was "of the same standard as Samaras." Use your brain and find a happy medium; you'll be much closer to the truth.

Strikers live by there goals scored. Look at Edin 1 poor season and he was moved on if you cant produce the goods your gone. As there will be so many willing to take over your roll. I think with everything Bony needs a goal. The West Ham is prefect for him. I think he will score but he will have to get used to that super sub roll and try and score goals when he comes on for Kun or when we need a goal. If he cant do that and get his confidence going asap I would fear for his time at the club. He is getting chances time to get a few he needs 1 to go in off his arse anything really. As if it doesnt happen for him and Nacho gets more game time and goals then there is more competition for the back up to Kun role.
I agree we may need to go get a replacement or maybe 1 of the forwards on loan might be that guy to come into the squad when the 2 guys are away next season but you never know what will happen in football.

He has way more in his game than Dzeko.

Apologies but can you clarify is that the same Edin Dzeko who was an integral part in winning

  1. Premier League: 2011–12, 2013–14
  2. FA Cup: 2010–11
  3. Football League Cup: 2013–14
  4. FA Community Shield: 2012
Well if Bony as you say "has way more in his game than Dzeko"

I look forward to watching us win the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup with our goal machine Bony at the forefront of the team. I bet all the clubs in Europe must be fucking shitting themselves at the thought of it.

Dzeko - 91:15

Bony - Never going to happen

Just save Serg for the CL games, we can afford to play Bony in more Prem games than just Aguero. Goal-wise he's dominated that competition before and he can do it again. Give him more game time. Right now he looks scared to take a proper shot.

Thing is, Sergio is irreplaceable. Doesn't matter how well our back up strikers do, if Sergio is fit, he starts. So what we need Bony to be, is a player that can come on and change a game instantly. He'll never be that kind of impact player. Actually, if we're playing poorly and its 0-0 with 20 minutes to go v West Ham, who would we honestly back to pose an immediate threat and get a goal? Bony or Kelechi? It'd have to be Kelechi surely? He's got that striker's instinct, a desire to get in the best position to score a goal. Bony's not displaying that. I'd already have Iheanacho as 2nd choice, but I don't sense that Pellegrini sees it that way just yet.

Maybe it's his fitness issue from injury but he needs to improve his workrate and finishing. He shows glimpses of it at times but we need more from him.
Give him a little time.
Give him til Christmas or like the Turkey he'll be gone.

Yeah let's get that 6'4'' wet lettuce back and his mighty tally of 4 goals last season. NOT. Fucking ducking out of the way of goal kicks coz he didn't want to head it. Softer than soft that lad. Anyway, he's gone now, thank fuck.

Fuck! Didn't even think of AFCON and Nacho. That's a ridiculous state of affairs for us to get in, where 1 injury would see us down to 0 strikers for a month.

Yes because it's beyond the realms of possibility that in the 2 and a half transfer windows before then, that we may sign another forward.
