He will be sold next summer, not going to get the goals we expect from him.

Unfortunately I expect the same. He's a good player, but no Aguero. We need a plan for when he's on the field, because his hold up play is sublime. If he's happy to play second fiddle in our side, then keep him, but if he wants to be the main man like he was at Swansea, then he should do what is best for him. I like him and hope he stays.

Bony is a quality player. Question is, is he quality enough for City AND THE WAY WE PLAY. Just as many a good player could be made to look ordinary in our line up, he needs to get grab a goal or two while holding up the ball and laying them on for our attacking mid. Right now, it is not clicking for him, but with a bit of luck, he can easily get double digits.

As others have said, it is hard to believe our frontline depth is Sergio, Wilfried and Nacho!

We saw when he set up Toure against West Brom that he is capable of creating chances for other players. As the season develops, I fully expect him to be setting up chances for Sterling and de Bruyne as the midfielders capable of going beyond Bony and through on goal. If that is a side of his game that develops, then I'm not unduly bothered if he only scores ten goals himself.

I think most people would conclude that Dzeko's career at City was very successful and he contributed the goals that we needed and expected of a second choice striker to cover Aguero. His start at City was also disjointed. January signings rarely hit the ground running. Bony has the ACON and has been injured off and on since he joined the club. From his touch, ability to hold up the ball and ability to combine with runners from midfield you can see he has the talent to be a great striker for City. Like Aguero, he just needs a few goals to settle him down. When strikers go through baron spells they sometimes try to hard. Aguero had two guilt edge chances to score, one against West Ham, the other against Monchengladbach. Both involved him rounding the keeper. The first he lacked composure and rushed his shot. The second he tried to show that composure when he needed to take his shot quickly.

We saw on Saturday, how instinct took over after he scored the first. He was confident and knew what he wanted to do the minute he got the ball. I stand by my faith in Bony, I think he's an excellent player and with the crossing ability of De Bruyne he'll be a great option for us, he just needs our support and once he scores one he'll settle and score regularly.

Absolutely . . . On all points I think bony was unfortunate to arrive in the window when he did and I think minutes on the pitch have hindered his form and thus it has been a stuttering start to his city career I certainly agree he seems to be trying hard possibly too hard he needs a couple of good full games accompanied by a couple or three convincing goals with it . . . I like him and think he will prove to be a good un for us in time

number of starts? fuck off..

And that makes a difference because ????????????

Played 20 times and scored 2 goals stats don't lie he might have a good first touch but that is it. There is absolutely nothing that he has shown in his 20 games that says he is a top level striker. But hey if you are happy to give him a chance you keep living in hope little boy.
