Absolutely . . . On all points I think bony was unfortunate to arrive in the window when he did and I think minutes on the pitch have hindered his form and thus it has been a stuttering start to his city career I certainly agree he seems to be trying hard possibly too hard he needs a couple of good full games accompanied by a couple or three convincing goals with it . . . I like him and think he will prove to be a good un for us in time

He has had 10 months you don't buy someone on a 5 year contract hoping they will come good in year 3 and 4.

Played 20 times and scored 2 goals stats don't lie he might have a good first touch but that is it. There is absolutely nothing that he has shown in his 20 games that says he is a top level striker. But hey if you are happy to give him a chance you keep living in hope little boy.

That is a very fair point and stats can be used to distort the truth.

However at the moment Bony cant even better these world class players who by all accounts were a flop at there respected clubs.

Dzeko managed 2 goals in 15 games for City when he first joined and then went on to score every other game in his second season. He didn't have to leave City for an International tournament, nor did he suffer the same number of injuries. Judge Bony at the end of the season if he's managed to stay fit.

he's got 30 league games and a number of cup games to go. he's 2nd fiddle in a 1 striker system. i agree he should look to about 10. will he still be sold if he gets 12 or 13?

Karen why does it matter how many minutes he has played his job his to score goals when he comes on the pitch and that is what he is not doing and keeps missing guilt edged chances that he should be banging away.

Add that to your list of excuses. There is nothing he has shown so far that points to him being a success but keep holding out hope for a Striker that is mid table Prem standard at its best.
