Let me say that when Yaya moves on - he will be missed by us. Fans and The Cub. I know I have called him lazy , some times , - along with many on here - but
his contribution to our League titles and Cups has been immense. In a few years time we will be calling him a true City legend.
Think of the goals he has scored at Wembley for us.

echo all of this. just a shame he'll leave with a bitter sweet legacy.

Will it be bitter sweet, or just remembered as part of the great pantomime that football has become...

I guess he could have just called you a supercilious bastard!

Making use of official source information makes one superior?

Cool!
No not superior but the Physio Room website is available for all @ http://www.physioroom.com

They just get their info on what is available in the public domain i.e. Google. Not complainging, as it can be useful for rough esitmates of long term injuries. But in terms of Yaya, City have said he was being rested and as BlueAnorak pointed out, this was because he was one booking away from suspension. As of Thursday this week he will no longer be one booking away from suspension: http://www.thefa.com/football-rules-gov ... uspensions (See cut off dates at bottom of list)

Before the match City tweeted he was being rested, after the match on GMR Pellers stated Yaya was injured, so are you accusing our well respected manager of telling lies?

Why do tools think he is injured?

The club tweeted yesterday that he was being rested. All I can see in the news media is click bait.

He will play on Thursday.

EDIT: Corrected for accuracy.
Us tools think he's injured because the manager said so after the match, prick!

Yeah that's the click bait I was talking about.

However:

The Chilean was also able to shed some light on the latest injury news, revealing the reasons why skipper Vincent Kompany and Yaya Toure were absent from the squad. He also told press both players will be assessed in the next 24 hours to see whether they will be ready for the New Year's Day clash against Sunderland.

"We will see tomorrow if Vincent is fit for the next game," he stated. "It is very difficult to know now. He felt some problem in his calf.

"Yaya Toure was not able to play 90 minutes. He felt a problem in his groin at the beginning of the last game.

"After 48 hours, it was too high-risk to repeat. He was not 100% so it was not good for him to play.

"We will see tomorrow [if he will be ready for Sunderland] and we hope he will because it is a lesser problem [he has]."

Yeah, I wrongly selected the wrong word and should of said 'The Egineer'.

Fact remains, people on here were doing the usual of spreading rumours based on media talk and getting the flappers flapping.

All I did was direct people to the info published on the official MCFC website and MCFC Twitter account. What BlueAnorak then did was brilliantly point out the most likely reason why Yaya was rested.

Re: Yaya?

@YayaToure: Just a note to say the boss rested me for the Burnley game,I am not injured...!I really hope to be involved against Sunderland! #ComeOnCity!
