Re: Yaya?

He started slowly , made a few poor passes but slowly and surely got his game under control. And his goal was sublime, so pleased for him. Also I liked Vinnie's post match comment about great players having the ability to shut detractors up with quality moments such as his goal.

Had a much better second half than the first 45. Progress, at least.

the posters who have thrown the lazy c*nt insults , maybe should show the guy a bit of understanding and compassion instead of their knee jerk aggression , personally i would have rested yaya today , but MP proved why he is the manager , lets hope this lifts yaya , and we see the real player , WE WANT ARE YAYA BACK

The player who makes the most passes in the league is not going to be a lazy player and Yaya is that player. Today he had a staggering 150 touches on the ball and one of them won the game.

I'd be interested to know the distance he covered today. I would imagine it was comparable to most players.....hardly lazy. However, even if it turns out it was less we already know he isn't a Jordan Henderson running marathons every game, its what he does with the ball thats the most telling part of his game. Yes he was average first half but he bossed the game in the second.

Isn't Paul Smith the dick that is always slagging our club?

Re: Yaya?

Really top quality goal that from Yaya Toure

I know Aguero got the 2nd but would we have scored had not Yaya relieved the pressure

He's been taking responsibility (as he should) in the last few games, but it's not worked out for him. Today it did. Great piece of skill

The Utd fans, and the mugs that follow them, will have to find another target. If they can.
