Jeez, I really wish I just ignored all his interviews, he's such a self entitled tool at times. Cringeworthy.

Yaya hasn't been playing very well but it is also not his fault. It is the manager's fault. Pellers decide who plays and who doesn't. If Yaya can only go for 50-60 mins a game and Pellers plays him for 90 mins which resulted in him trying to pace himself instead of going all out the whole game like the old Yaya. I still think Yaya can be effective with limited minutes OR more rest where he only plays 1 in 3 games.

He said: “I’m very, very disappointed. It’s sad to see Africa react this way, that they don't think African achievements are important.”

I don't understand what he is even saying. And to be honest, Yaya doesn't deserve it anyway.
He won the AFCON, the guy whose name I can't spell was knocked out in round one. Toure believes his contribution to the tournament should see him win the award, not just accomplishments on foreign soil.

If that's the case, Yaya shouldn't have won it 4 times. You clearly don't know how good Aubamayang is and he deserved it.

He's been one of the greatest players but a total knobhead.. I stick by my view that he should have been farmed out last year or even earlier at cakegate. The Club hierachy have not managed him well. A colossus on the pitch when motivated but we only see flashes of it ,the rest of the time he's a liability.

He needs a slap sometimes
"Us Africans, we don’t show that Africa is important in our eyes. We favour more what’s abroad than our own continent. That is pathetic."

Quite. Not exactly an ambassador for the club off the pitch.

By his logic then he should never have won it before this one? Any quotes from Yaya suggesting that he shouldn't have? I doubt it

Its a shame he's got such an ego because despite all of his crucial goals I just can't warm to him. I've always felt city players should have a degree of humility
