You can tell how the game will go after 10mins with Yaya, he doesn't grow into the game or start slowly. He is either up for it and running the game from the kick off or he is misplacing passes, trying little flicks, being left on his arse by the opposition and so on and does this for the rest of the game.
How everyone apart from seemingly Pellegrini can see this is quite incredible.
I am not a fan for the board room getting involved but surely Txiki can see the issue and have a word with Pellegrini. This is a fantastic opportunity for us to pick up more than 1 trophy this season and we are throwing it away every opportunity we get.
Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal will be strong next season you would think, why the fuck are we wasting this golden chance.
I am pretty much sure that Mancini and Pellers know very well that side of our Yaya.
But what they know even more is that Yaya has this unique ability to turn a match by a pure moment of genius's magic.
In that matter, i think that we should have kept Spanish Dave as Silva's nickname and give Yaya the "Merlin" one, i find it a thousand time more suited.
How many time has Yaya bailed us out in capital games with a goal coming out of nowhere while we were looking like never scoring even if playing for 500 remaining minutes ?
Yes, countless times, and managers know that even a half arsed and half fit detrimental Yaya can produce a bit of magic skill that will turn a game's result around in our favour.
Nowadays the years are taking their tolls on Yaya's performances, 2013-2014 was his peak season and he is only going backwards from that time.
Even if he is a living legend, a decaying one mind you, since our performance trajectory matches his, obviously time will come to part next summer.
For the time being, we just have to hope that the Ferns/Delph partnership will reveal efficient.
