Players supposedly unhappy

You can listen to what Sam Lee said on The Athletic podcast at the link below and judge for your self.

I can believe that some players like Laporte might be unhappy and Mahrez may be after a new contract but struggle to accept the extent of unrest that is described.

One point Lee does make that may be valid is that Pep maintains distance from players and does not explain his decisions which must be frustrating. Apparently this is because he was too close to his players at his previous clubs.

If anyone is happy after the loss I would be very surprised..Pep has totally delivered trophies to these guys, and someone will always be unhappy for not playing in a final..the players who missed out then have to go and prove themselves to be in the next final..to be honest I believe we are almost punching above our weight, and that is down to Pep.Winning the PL and Carabao without a recognised striker was genius. Two more years of Pep and then who?
All the so called top managers have jobs lined well in advance. A more expensive Carousel than the pleb one for people like Big Fat Sam etc. Pep has his future mapped. Two more seasons here.

Do you work for a national newspaper, talk sport or sky?
"all accounts" suggests loads of people have stories to tell about him but I really doubt that. He looked happy recently to me and he`s getting a shit load of dosh and games.
I think the only players who are unhappy are the ones being let go by the club.
My source is very reliable mate and has no reason to lie, his attitude is questionable maybe ask Didier Deschamps about him!

Laporte is a bit of a bellend from all accounts, thinks when he snaps his fingers people should jump. If he wants away then put a price tag on him and see if someone wants to pay it and his wages, or fight for your place like everyone else.
Really?! If true wonder if that played a part in his slide down the pecking order (along with Stones' form)

I think it was simply a case of Laporte’s form not being great and obviously Stones renaissance at roughly the same time made it even more difficult for him to get back in. However, Stones has proved that you can get back in favour in a Pep team so all is not lost for Laporte. Whether he wants to hang around waiting for his chance to become first choice again is a different matter.

Why can’t he play left back, left footed defender can pass a ball, ye he’s not fast to go up and down be so we really need that.

Is it just paper talk or is his head turned by Barca influence.there was a quote that said he questioned Peps tactics in CL final, is it a gee up or is there a bit of lost confidence in Pep.
Personally, I think Pep has treated Gundo amazingly and brought him forward from a good contributor to a great contributor and would see any thought of leaving as an insult.
Hope it’s not true

I've heard that the whole team is for sale at a discount price. That's what the media says.
