Ali B was great in Division 1, pretty much won us the title on his jack, that cannot be disputed in any way. In the Premiership he was really not that good. Lots of players have been great in Div 1 and not in the Prem and they dont get the same sort of rating that Ali B gets from us. I never said he was shit i said he is/was overrated by City fans. My only wish is he had come 3/4 years earlier so the pace of the Prem wasn't to much for him then we could of seen what he do for us in the top tier.
Anyway like i said its an opinion, my opinion and there are no right or wrongs no matter how much you disagree with it. I think he was overrated by City fans, just because you challenge me to a whose the bigger blue competition doesn't mean i will climb down on it

Hiya, we're actually not that far away in our opinions. He did , with a bit of help from Berko. carry us to the title, we did get him a few years too late ( although we probably couldn't have afforded him earlier) and he was to old/slow for the Prem, not that he played much there.
All considered, I don't think he was overated as I'm judging him at the time he played, not compareing him to Bell, Lee, Buzzer, Tev, Silva, Vinny etc.

As for someone wanting you to leave the forum, that is bollocks. If we all had the same opinions about everything and everyone, there wouldn't be any forums. :)

Fucking hell i have said overrated by CITY fans not overrated in general i have also explained myself on this. I also haven't denied he was great in Div 1 either but where it really mattered (The Prem) to carve out a reputation befitting of the praise City fans give him he didn't cut it, this is almost definitely due to his age which is a shame
