The way Arsenal had set up they would have dealt with that approach as well. We had to really grind them down and it took a momentary lapse in concentration for the break through.

Every ball we lobbed in was crying for a busy big lad it would have taken the attention off of Haaland too IMO.

A couple of lucky breaks did land for Arsenal up until the equaliser.

Unless you want a Rodri replacement to be as good as Rodri, whereas the only real option is Kimmich as his "back up"

If Gravenberch can play as a first choice #6 for the Dippers than Kovacic can play as a back up

Not for me he hasn’t. Yday once Rodri went off they had the better of the half. He’s done okay against lesser teams but I don’t think he’s anywhere near our best 11 if everyone’s fit and doesn’t have the physical attributes to cover Rodri.just my opinion

Gravenberch could have been very good under Pep. That’s a type of profile we need to be looking at - highly rated as a youngster, lots of upside, decent price.
