What about Eric Dier on a free as cover for CB and DM. Only 30, homegrown (I think he counts?) and can cover two positions in a big squad. Can take free kicks as well.

I am not saying he is the first choice, I am saying as a backup I think players like him, Mitchell from palace and Jonathan Davies on a free could do a job. I think really we need a backup striker, a DM, a lb, rb, and a cb. Bosmans and loans are a way to compliment the players we spend big on.
