He has all the physical attributes to be one of the best CB's. Good in the air, strong and fast and good with his feet. The problem is between his ears. His decision making is worse than a 10 year old.
 
If we had the squad place for him, it'd be a yea from me. Yes he takes risks, but our whole defensive strategy is seen as ultra risky by most. With Pep guiding him, he'd be great.

Also we were in for him before he arrived at CFC, but with FFP looming we stood back & allowed Chelsea a free run. Good luck to him at Arsenal, I reckon it'll be a good fit for both parties.
 
Unless this has been in the works for a while under the radar, that's pretty shite of Luiz to do on a professional level. Wait the entire window and then in the last two days before it closes say you want to go to a rival across the city whilst your own team can't sign any replacements.

Apparently he wasn't in Lampard's plans & CFC are happy to let him go for £8m, as they have other options in front of him.

Arsenal sort their CB issue, CFC get £8m for a 32 year old who'd have been 4th/5th choice CB this season & Luiz gets first team football without having to move home & uproot his family... It seems everyone's a winner here.
