Players who might improve us

If you could get him at a fairly decent price he would be ideal to give us competition at LB and LW, he was brilliant at Fulham but for some reason it's not quite worked at Spurs. It's a very low risk one as well because even if he doesn't workout you'll always be able to recoup some money on young English players, especially left sided with the potential he's got. Think @domalino mentioned him a few days ago.

I think he would give us a good option on the left. Can even play LB. Is homegrown and still young enough to get back on track.

Be interesting to see if he does leave.

I’d rather get Dwight McNeil - Sessegnon has done nothing at the Premier League to justify us taking a chance on him.

McNeil could offer us the genuine width we’ve lacked on the left since Sane, and would probably be willing/able to do a proper job at leftback as well. For a 20 year old in a dull team, he’s looked a very accomplished already and could excel in a team that actually tries to play football.

Not a bad shout playing McNeil at LB. Can't be any worse in both attacking and defending than Zinchenko.

Both would be very good players, I'd be happy to see either of them here. We registered our interest pre lockdown in McNeil but so did a few other clubs. Everton have had two bids rejected. I know a bid has been accepted for him to move this summer but his mates are saying nothing, I don't even think they know which club it is. He wants to move because of the style of football, he think it's holding him back but won't ask for a move because they gave him his chance.
 
We need to use our buy back on Douglas Luiz. The lad shines in a crap team. He could come on leaps and bounds under pep and learning from ferna and Rodri. He could save us an absolute fortune. Don't get me wrong camavinga is the dream but we need at least
1 x cb koulibaly only easy, logical answer
1 x dm Luiz cheap, more mobile than rodri
1 x lw God only knows there seems to be a huge lack of talent. Mbappe (too expensive) sancho (does pep want him) after that several others that are injury prone, too slow, no end product.
1 x striker as above. Complete lack of goal scorers around. Werner would of worked for me to cover lw and striker. There's haaland will he come here, is his all round game good enough, too expensive? Isaak Young, not tested much, all round game? Maybe look around the brazilian/argentine leagues for a gem.
1 x lb another department we struggle in all the time. Digne, sessagnon, telles?

Striker we can hold off on for a season and maybe even the dm but luiz will get snapped up if villa get relegated. Personally I think he has bags of potential.

I'd sell stones, nico, zinchenko, gundo, sane, Roberts, Harrison, aleix garcia, Angelino, etc to fund purchases.

Also bring tosin back (loan thb out) and see where he is at we can always loan him back out at Xmas cos he's starting to look way above average now. He's captained all age groups at city and deserves his chance.
 
Houssem Aouar. 9 goal 7 assists this season at 21 years of age from a left center midfield position. Plays like a hybrid between David Silva and a young Gundogan and also got the "pausa" that Pep craves. Lyons president has also openly said that he's for sale this summer. In my opinion it's a no brainer

 
Jiminez at Wolves, I know he is only a few years younger then Agüero but is the most neutral fit for our team.

I agree he looks a real prospect. I’d like to see him with better players.
 
Surprised with all this replacing Sane talk, no ones brought up Moussa Diaby yet. Incredible pace on the left side, left footed and still only 20.
 
There is absolutely no chance in hell of this happening and we haven't been linked with him for 18 months.

But... if we're getting a midfielder like Zakaria...Milinkovic-Savic would be amazing in this side.

Best midfielder in Italy. Technically brilliant, resists pressing, scores big goals, can play any position and would give that physical edge Pep had with Vidal at Bayern or Keita at Barca that we don't have.

Anyway he's too expensive, and he's probably too good to share time in a team, and Lotito is a bastard to buy players off. Hell of a player though.
