Players who might improve us

Do you know any English striker of good level that can be obtained for low price? If they restrict the number of foreigners in the Premier teams, we will be obliged to bring English players.

Rashford is poor, his movement is predictable, he doesn’t seem to have a great instinct for being in the right place at the right time, he’s quite lazy, he’s technically way below what we require and he’s not very good at finishing.

Apart from that, get him in. He is quick after all.

For Aguero’s eventual replacement, we don’t need an amazingly spectacular striker imo, just one who will not panic when chances are presented. He will get so many easy chances that he just needs to be a Steady-Eddie type. Who that is - I’ve no idea. Just hope he has a cool name.

And that he doesn’t do stupid handshakes.

It's a matter of taste, I do not see great strikers under 23, surely others will like another type of player and I respect it totally, football is like that, everything can be discussed but always with respect. Rashford is a player of good potential only with the wrong coach and with few minutes of play, I'm sure Sterling would not have grown as much in another club as he has done in the City with Pep, a similar case would happen with Rashford.

Why does the striker have to be English? If there are no good english strikers we shouldn't buy one. Premier League voted against the number of foreigners to be restricted. Rashford wouldn't even be playing for Milwall if he didn't have pace

I just saw the news that it has been voted against decreasing the number of foreign players. What other young level forwards could you bring at a good price these days ?, I like Mbappe but it is very expensive, the polish of genoa does not fully convince me and I do not see another that has the level to come to City. To Rashford I do not see him at ease with Mourinho, leaving aside the issue of the rivalry against united, I think he is a player with great potential and that Pep could make him grow even more in our club.

Apart from pace, Rashford has nothing

We paid £40 million for Sterling based on his form. But we saw instincts that were there to build on.

I don’t see anything in Rashford but pace.

As you say, it’s about opinions.

We also have a much better young striker in Jesus who shows more of every quality than Rashford has.
Aguero has two years I recon at the elite level, or at least another full season.
Football changes very quickly.

Martial is overrated. He’s fast and can finish but he’s not good enough on the ball for a team like ours.

Christian Pulisic?

It'll be a sad, sad day if the rumors are true and he does move to Liverpool. Or to a lesser extent, Chelsea...
