Players who might improve us

The question of a new striker can't be too far off the horizon. I don't have any names to put into the hat but we will need someone ready for.the PL. Not necessarily with PL experience but someone who has experience of big CL games, local derbies, maybe experience of tense relegation battles, games that really matter. Someone who has provided game changing moments, a ruthless streak in them cos that's what we need. Doesn't have to have loads of goals under the belt, maybe 50+, but with a great goals to chances ratio. An intelligent player with no attitude. Griezmann would be fat too expensive

I've floated this one before but he scored tonight and it reminded me - if @twosips is correct about us going for another LB, I don't think anyone would be better suited to be a Pep fullback than Raphael Guerreiro. He's a LB who moved to CM under Thomas Tuchel and can also play LW just as well.

Other than Alaba, he's probably the only player in the world who's already got the 3 skillsets we need in a LB - attacking out wide, defending out wide and comfortable in the middle - and experience doing it.

He has had injury problems, but that's not stopped Pep signing someone before and given we'd be juggling Mendy and Delph as well maybe his injury history might mean he accepts a back up role that a player of his quality wouldn't normally.

Oh and his contract expires in 2020 so would be cheap in the summer.

Please, no more injury prone players. Please.

If we’re looking for a LB I would prefer Chilwell or Tierney. Reports says that Junior Firpo has been one of the best LBs in La Liga and his agent is Peps brother, so that could be an option as well
