Players who might improve us

He was brilliant for us, we desperately needed a midfielder with a bit of energy type player, and he performed that role really well. However unlike some others that we have currently I never thought he would make it at the highest level. Really good mid-table possibly spurs level player I think is his level. I mean I'd love to have him back here, but he's absolutely nowhere near Man City quality imo.

That suggests that you do have players that you suspect might make it at City. If the name Will Hughes appears in your response, however, you’ll have blown your cover. ;-)

Guehi is a world class CB. Not sure if he gets into your starting X1, but he's absolutely world class for sure. Andersen ... not so sure, a really top defender but maybe lacks the pace. Eze and Olise ... they could both go to the absolute top level. And if you felt generous you'd give us 50 million quid for Edouard lol.

he’s a good player, but I wouldn’t say world class. Dias is world class and I wouldn’t say Guehi is at his level
 
Sell Philips and bring back Aleix Garcia.

Would be lovely to have an academy player prove himself and come back.

I can't see any chance Girona will sell Garcia to us.
Currently at the top of La Liga and probably thinking that they are , at worst, looking at a Champions league spot.
I don't think we would even try to get him but CFG would surely look on it unfavourably.
Weakening a LaLiga team and only improving us slightly, if at all.

They will sell him if he keeps playing like this, either to us or someone else.

Girona shouldn't and most likely won't sell in January though, and if they do get CL football they may be able to keep him around for another year.

Agreed let them have a good shot at la liga
