For some reason this made me really laugh, not your reply but the fact that there is a thing called the internet or even tape measures which Ray appears to have not heard of :)

I am using a conversion table which it works out as 5.774 feet or closer to 5'8".

I think you are trying is equate decimals to feet and inches incorrectly. There are 12 inches in a foot not 10. So .774 of a foot isn't equivalent to seven and three quarter inches.

1.76 m equals 5 feet and 9.3 inches. I am lead the believe an extra inch or two can make all the difference.

As I just edited my post and maybe you missed it, 1.76 m equals 5 feet and 9.3 inches. I am lead the believe an extra inch or two can make all the difference.
