I found his interview recently interesting. Says he is very happy at the club as the best in the world, says his family are incredibly happy but says it’s not just his choice. Is that a knock at the club for not giving him a new contract? If giving him a new contract keeps him here just do it. He’s worth it, we can rely on him if Eddy isn’t fit.

They'd sell numerous other players before Palmer. Gallagher is already getting sold and he's been one of their better players.
