I would take either as a RB/CB Hybrid, both capable of pushing up the flank if required. I have seen Simakan play quite high up the pitch for Leipzig as well.
 
Kayode seems quite like Akanji / Walker to me. Not much of an attacking threat. Not yet, anyway.

I imagine at 19 he will stay put for another year.

Yes, Geertruida is a true RB but my point was that if you want someone who can play RB and also play in the back 3 as a CB as you had suggested... I'd rather Simakan. But personally, is fancy a high flying attacking RB ( or perhaps Nunes can take that role).
