Players who might improve us

Definitely, fantastic couple of players.

Florenzi has just torn his ACL and MCL, will probably be out for a year, and it's the 3rd ligament injury to that knee. He is a bust.

Nainggolan is a player I've loved since his Cagliari days, but at 29 he's far to old to be spending the £40m+ that Roma would demand for him.

Has anyone seen much of Naby Keita?

Suppsoedly one of the best midfielders in Germany, one of RB Leipzig's wonderkids, and described as Kante but with technical ability - passing and shooting etc.

Never realised he had a setback. It's a shame I think he'd be great addition and could play the inverted full back and fill in midfield when required.

I dunno if Nainggolan would go for as much as that, but he's had a hell of a season and I think he'd be an upgrade on Dinho.

Keita is pretty good. Nowhere as tenacious as Kante though.

I was explaining this to Adgen, he moves like Kante but doesn't play like him. Its quite wired. As in his physical movements are like Kante's but his game necessarily isn't.

Liverpool is apparently in for him. He'll fit their frenetic style perfectly.

They won't get him! Red Bull will ask too much for them.

Thomas Meunier and Radja Nainggolan. Two ballplaying warriors that work their socks off.

The only similarities that Keïta shares with Kante are his stamina, workrate and stature. And of course being black. Other than that they are completely different players. Kante is pretty much a water carrier in midfield with inferior technical qualities while Keïta is an elite ball carrier, can play as a 6, 8 or a 10 and be a goal threat. Kante will never put up goals/assists numbers because that's not really his thing. Keïta's an extremely dynamic midfielder. He's pretty much on par with Ousmane Dembélé in terms of dribbling ability. Kante comparisons seems like racial profiling.

It remains to be seen if he can work in a more possession style team as Leipzig is a direct team, he can get complacent on the ball, he is young though and is already one of the best CM's in the world. He's able to do crazy shit like this:

Took the piss out of the Austrian league last season as a midfielder.

Caballero tried to play a pass 40 yards under pressure and only ever so slightly overclubbed it; cue commentators criticizing his distribution. Pickford, under no pressure, wellied it out of the park; cue commentator silence. Good shot stopper but for me more akin to Hart than what we now need.

Pickford had a good game against us but there still a lot work with him and his kicking style would not suit us at all.

In what way did he have a good game? Made a couple of simple stops that you'd expect any keeper to make and kicked the ball aimlessly to our team all game (not helped by having midgets to aim at, but that further begs the question as to why you're doing it in the first place). He's had some good games this season, but today he did pretty much nothing of note that you wouldn't expect from any keeper, but with terrible distribution to boot. Really lacked composure, kept kicking it early when his teammates needed him to slow the game down and let them have a breather. Not seen anything to suggest he's any different to the other English keepers in the league

That's how i saw it,nothing special at all,and he looks on the small side.

Why not give Gunn the opportunity? he's a good deal bigger in stature and equally as capable from what ive seen.
