Playing him beside Kevin De Bruyne in our system once David hangs up his boots would be frightening.

I love Rakitic I think he would really adapt to the prem but he is getting a little older.

Leonardo Bonucci to come in and teach Stones and Laporte with his experience at being one of the best ball playing centre backs in the world.

Anthony Martial , perfect foil for Sane on the other side. I know it'll never happen but this is basically a fantasy football thread anyway.

Edit: just noticed James has been mentioned in the last few pages before I posted this. I agree that I like him as a prospect better than mahrez but mahrez is probably going to happen at this point.

But James Rodriguez is an AM first - not a wide player. We have Silva/KDB/Bernardo/jesus/Foden for 2 slots - no vacancy. Bayern wouldn't sell to us anyway.

I thought he was distinctly average last season and not convinced he's good enough on the ball for us. Still pretty young though.

Tottenham have had a really solid defence for the past 3 years, and he's slotted in no problem and played 30 league games, which is impressive for a 22 year old. He came from Ajax so he'll know how to play from the back, and Guardiola will improve and encourage it. I love the fact that he's absolutely rapid for such a tall, strong CB. Could be very useful for when we push up the pitch and teams break on the counter.

Again though, Levy got there first. Guess we'll just have to enjoy him when he inevitably goes Madrid.
