Players who might improve us

Mbappe, we haven't looked half as dangerous on the break since Sane left. We need a rapid finisher. A forward who scares the shit out of defenders and can be in their box from the counter within seconds of us getting the ball back.

Dinho is still reliable when called upon but cannot keep this up, would he great for this lad to take over from him

Atm we only have 5 natural CM's competing for 3 spots, KDB, Gundo, Dinho, Rodri and Bernardo, 3 of whom will be into their 30s by the time next season starts

You see players like Bissouma rated at £40mil and Rice at £75mil, this kid represents the best value for his current ability and ceiling

I just came to say this as well. He starts for France too, we should be going for him and bellingham.

Anyone who has mentioned Son ....
Did you see him play yesterday? No, thought not, he didn't play he was probably the worst player on the pitch by a distance.....have a look on Spuds forum, those who watch him every week....in nutshell has a purple spell of a few games, but majority of time a complete waste of space.

That he doesn't really have his own thread in this forum is pretty telling as to how attainable people think he is. He definitely deserves his own or a new one could be created called 'Players that absolutely would improve us'. ;)

That plus he's will be 29 before the next season starts, more than 2 years older than Sterling

He has been a problem for us over the years, but in the last two games we've kept a close eye on him and he hasn't been in either game.
I think teams have realised if you keep him quiet you pretty much stop them.

Dealing with Levy means he would cost too much, plus he's getting on in age.
 
Honestly, we need to flex our financial muscle and sign Haaland, Camavinga and Nuno Mendes in the summer. By far the best 3 at their position who are u21. Send a screw you to everyone else around.

Could arguably get the outstanding talent at LB and CM for approx. 70/80 mil, that's outstanding business

Haaland we will obviously have to break the bank but if there was a player to do it, it'd be him

Camavinga £35mil
Mendes £45mil
Haaland £120mil to £150mil

So £200mil to possibly tie us down for the next decade....it just makes sense

The last 2 windows about £100mil net seems to be our sweet spot, and we could easily recoup a decent amount through the loan army
Herrera - £15mil
Harrison - £10mil
Porro - £8mil
Braaf - £9mil
Mendy - £10mil
(Sancho - £12mil from clause)
Plus a odd couple million each for players like Roberts, Nmecha, Itakura, Meshino etc.

Maximin would be an interesting signing (albeit a frustrating/annoying player at times) but Ashley would ask for a ridiculous fee. Better than Adama Traore though.
