I didn’t think we needed that many more pieces but when you factor in how many players collage we might have to go big again.
I hope we stick to an identity.
I know we don’t play the same system longer than a season but hopefully we get quality players with high levels of skill.
I think the window would be a failure if
The midfield isn’t addressed, seriously we still haven’t replaced Gundo let alone Bernardo and what’s going on with Rodri is his best behind him ? What’s the succession plan ?
A back up RB because Nunes is the system he can overlap and form part of the back 3. Him playing so many is not good for anyone.
When you factor in the amount of games we will play next season esp if we get to the QF in the UCL and the title race goes down to the wire we’re gonna need a big squad.
I’m not sure if we should sell a lot of players, I think players like Kovatic and Ake can be very useful…
Players I like:
A forward that plays on both wings that is very comfortable on the touchline but is a very good decision maker. Because when Doku eventually gets injured we struggle like crazy. Preferably someone technically gifted. I think we need 1 or 2 more players like Cherki and Ait Nouri
A classic midfield with bags of technical quality and flexibility. A seasoned player who’s elite tempo setting and passing and 2nd workhorse with substantial potential to be something more
The next best u23 RB that would be Nunes understudy. All they have to do is learn and not be weak.
Hopefully have a bench we can rely on. With players the manager acc likes
I’m praying we see the light and keep Trafford because I miss being able to watch a Pep team be able to play out from the back. How defeated teams would be when they would try press us. I need that. More than any signing.
