Players who might improve us

His injury was a massive blow to Utd. I rate him very highly, but it might take him a while to get back to his best. I can't see him at City
 
Shaw is one of the best left backs out there if there is any chance he's leaving we should be all over it. Was great before the injury.
 
I wish city would take a serious look at this guy, since going back to france he has been a revelation, would be a brilliant addition to our squad,
 
Fatty Shaw? I'd give it a swerve just because of the ridiculous shit he wears.
Be interesting to see what he's like after his comeback. If he's lost any pace then that's half his worth gone straight away.

He was always good, just had off field distractions and reportedly personal issues that hampered his time in England. I think he is the type of player that performs best in his comfort zone, which is France (despite some of the treatment he gets there, not unlike Nasri, though not quite as bad), so I don't think we should be going for him.

Struggled with the physical side and pace of the PL when at Newcastle
Not an upgrade on Nasri or Silva as far as I can see.

If we give them a reasonable (market value) fee, and chuck in a kid who needs the experience, we would not be neutering them, it's mutual trade, just like any transfer between two clubs - it's not like they have to do what we say, they are to an extent independent, and they could reject an offer if they feel it's not in their best interest. The only deal that CFG has created for them is the David Villa loan and that really did no harm, even if he didn't have an amazing impact...

And I agree with Dax, whenever I have seen Rodriguez play he has been massively underwhelming
