Players who never

From a United perspective; Liam Miller, Christ Eagles, Kieran Richardson, Febian Brandy amongst others.

On the world stage, a few of; Joaquin & Quaresma, Drenthe etc.

I'm my opinion this will always happen with players from Utd because they are shite in the 1st place. They just get hyped up by the media/pundits and people in general because they still harbour the belief that Slur Alex cannot buy a bad player

Also Drenthe didn't have any potential he couldn't get in Feyenoord's team when Real Madrid bought him, they only bought him cos he played reasonably well in the U21 tournament

Back to the subject I thought Babel would have done it at L'pool and also Harry Kewell

Cant believe nobody has said Denilson. He was unbelievable at Sao Paolo became the most expensive player in Football History before the 98 WC and then blew up completly
Also this is very controversial and he still has a great career but Del Piero and his knee injury back in 99 stopped him IMO becoming one of the true greats, never the same after the knee injury

*cough* look up!

I know

sssshhhhhhh im trying to get away with it

-- Tue Apr 26, 2011 1:29 pm --

Paul Moulden, never really made the transition to first team football,if he'd shown half of his form in youth and reserve teams,he would have been a legend.
Jeffers is a good call,England international reduced to playing for a poor team in a poor league in Australia.
Michael Bridge looked the goods at Leeds ended up in Australia too.Lee Sharpe, first player I knew of that chucked his career away with drugs, one of the few players of theirs I coveted.
One out of the archives,Alun Evans went to Liverpool from Wolves for big money and did bugger all, after being potted in a pub.

He would of been quality but that knee injury just totally ruined him, huge cruciate damage seems to destroy some players
