Players who underperformed at City but were great elsewhere

He wasn't "shit" for us because he never really got a chance due to his asthma, but I'd have loved to have seen Paul Warhurst at his peak in a City shirt.

Nigel Clough and George Weah are two obvious ones that were not very good at City. I really liked Clough as a player at Forest. *sigh*

Mick Channon was fantastic at City loved watching his runs down the right.
LOL now you having a laugh

One of the most exciting signings back in the day, the reality was a player totally overrated and was even then more interested in his horses back down south.

Dibble was a very average keeper, always was.
yet was man of the match when Luton won the League Cup(just before joining City back when teams played full strength teams)and won a number of caps for Wales, being their number 2 for a few years.

I should add the fee we paid for him 250,000 back in the late 80s would have been the highest fee paid by a non-top flight club for a goalkeeper at the time.

Who was that eastern european striker we got from an Italian club? Think was nicknamed the bull, but hardly played, got injured, didn't like it in Manc and then left. Sven signing?
