Players you have met

i've been up to carrington a few times in the past year or so and met them all briefly, but the best was SWP by a mile, can't believe some people have met him and he's "been a dick". anyway it was a junior blues meeting and i was about 10 at the time, shaun and another player were there for a meet and greet kind of thing, signing autographs and that. anyway they queue was fookin huge as you'd expect and just as we'd got to the front, he got whisked away into a side coridoor by two big blokes in suits saying time was up. anyway being about 10 at the time, me and my brother were gutted and followed them in trying to get a picture. one of the blokes told us we couldn't come through but shaun (on his way out) heard us and told the guy to let us through, got a picture with him and he signed our shirts, just seems like such a nice gesture and he was really humble about it considering we were just kids

Apart from the obvious whilst at the hospitality suite at the game Booth, Bell, etc and I've met May, Doyle, Barnes, Morrison and Lake at football evenings. Having lived in the same village as Paul Lake grew up is would be hard not to see him and knock on his door and get your banana signed would it as a youngster.

In all honesty even meeting a shitfaced Nicky Weaver in Brannighans in Manc on boxing day, or meeting KK and my all time hero Tuert at a book signing. Over anyhing else I'd have to put down meeting the Goat at Stockport station as the highlight spontanious and an absolute gent (even though he was playing for Reading at the time).
