Players you have met

Met colin the king when i bought his book he signed it & we had a chat hes a sound guy ?
 


Met Silva in Valencia he didnt speak much English but said hello and signed my shirt (apologies for the ugly rag in the picture).
Also met Villa Joaquin and Mata who spoke some English and was really nice. Torres bit ignorant seen him in Manchester Selfridges. Not really met many city players just see them alot out and about.

Ive spoken to joe royle a few times hes a mate of my old boss he used to come into our works to see him .
 
i met quinny nick and mike summerbee out and about in alty, met anelka loads and keegan too. worked next door to gary cahill aswell last year for ages he was sound, worked next door to horse head and his missus was laughing at me cos i had a city top on saying summet to the man with the long head. worked opposite darren fletcher aswell he used to let on seemed alright altough i did give him dirty looks all the time. met nicky weaver and he's a cock and also one of my good mates alex's sister in law was going out with kiki musampa and he has christmas dinner with him, he said kiki musampa sat at the table with a xmas cracker hat on was a bizzare experiance haha said he didnt wanna talk football either
 
Dickov.

When I was younger (15 - 16) I was stood beside Jon Macken in the chippy near me and didn't even realise, it was only after I left my brother told me it was him. Seen him in the pub a couple of times though a couple of years ago.
 
I met Ali Benarbia in Nice airport when I was working in France. He was with his wife and daughter.

It was just after the final game of the season when all the players paraded around the pitch. . He had his daughter on the pitch with him.

I have a table and he asked if he could join me as seats were scarce. Really nice bloke. It helped that I could speak a bit of French too!

I also met Anelka in Selfridges in the Trafford Centre. I was buying a gift for my wife and spoke to him a little. He was ok but a bit miserable. He didn't want to speak English either!

When I worked in Paris I flew over each Monday morning, 2000-2005. At that time Liverpool had a doctor/physio in Paris so I got to sit next to a few scousers. Had a decent chat with Jamie Rednapp, Steven Gerrard and Michael Owen on different occasions.

Actually most recently I went to the Manchester museum with my wife and kids.

I ended up taking my 5-year old to the toilet at the same time as Rio Ferdinand was in there with his lad. Outside we both had to wait for our wives so we had a bit of a chat. He was alright really.

Met the Goat in the Bodyshop at the Trafford Centre. Legend!
 
Anyone else noticed when a blue mooner mentions speaking to a rag player .
They sort of half apologise for saying the person was sound in case they
get a load of abuse from the forum ha ha .

Do you want to talk about your work when you're socialising? I'd ask for a picture or autograph at an official do but if I saw Adam Johnson out on the town then I'd leave him be.
