Thanks for your support Tbilisi. It was Porto we beat that night and you got Big Jim the policeman bang on.
Amazing to beat them at the Racecourse nd even more amazing to got to Porto and score a goal in the last 2 mins to lose 4-3 and go through on the away goal. Still considered one of the greatest ever shocks in European football. We did play Roma in the next round who narrowly beat us home and away with the great Brazilian Falcao and Italian world cup winner Bruno Conti fresh from the World Cup. Good memories, thanks for triggering them.

Nice one. Thanks a lot for putting that on. My dad has been telling me for about 5 years about this goal cos he says it's the best he's ever seen. I've never been able to find it when I've searched, cheers.
 
Why?









There is a huge amount of land available which can be turned into affordable housing, Megabowl,cinemas,food outlets or a tesco supermarket.All will bring much needed jobs to the area.It`s a business.I`m sure if it had been us the Welsh lads would all be going out of their way to assist us.

yep id say it is one of the greatest goals ive seen at a live match. the place erupted. MH is a very humble bloke when he talks about his own exploits.

Thanks to all the BlueMooners who have been singning the petition. You have really given it some bounce !.
Man City were very welcome at the Racecourse during the pre season freindly.
In the earlier post re players who had played for both clubs since the war, forgot to mention the most recent one Jeff Whitley. Remebered when I spotted his post on this forum.

Dont agree with the Argentina chant and hope City fans never use it at COMS!

Im a Wrexham lad and I will never forget seeing lads I was it school with returning to the village from the Falklands with severe burns when their ship got hit!!
