Well played City. Plenty to be happy about, Benfica keeper their MotM by a mile. Fofana looks a good player and took his goal well. City made the wrong choices sometimes but I put that down to some players playing for themselves and trying to make a name rather than passing to a better placed team mate but I suppose strikers have to be a bit greedy at times. Game really came to life after they equalised and was good entertainment. City players gutted at the end. They really wanted this.

Really good effort from the lads tonight, 20 minute period after half time when they lost their rhythm and let Benfica back into the game, having said that their keeper was easily MOM. Good learning curve though and am sure most if not all of these lads will go on to make a living out of the game.

Thought we looked better when trying to atack them. In the second half we sat back a bit and did not seem so comfortable gettting the ball through the midfield.. A lot of excellent saves from their keper. Wecould havedonewith a second goal when they were lokingdispirited in the first half...
