Plymouth Argyle (H) | FA Cup | Post Match Thread

Some of you may be right and Kev, Bernie, Gundy are finished.
We were a winning machine with all parts moving together. This season we have had the heart ripped out of it through injury let along fatigue. Would they all look bad with Rods, Ruben, an inform and sane Walker in the team? Then take out John and Kev and a broken Foden. Gundy and Bernie have had to perform without all the moving parts.
These guys have given me so much, I'm willing to wait until the band is completely back together, before administering last rites.
If the new young guys are the future, great, but some of the old guard may still contribute.

Not for Bernardo, no way

A rest is all he needs, and a strong midfield to play with.
I wish you was correct about Bernardo I really do.

But when a player is so far off the pace it’s so much more than that unfortunately.

He hasn’t didn’t play against Spurs and still put in that performance. Everything points towards him being finished as much as I don’t want him to be.

Players with the work ethic of Bernardo historically burn out young, and unfortunately Bernardo doesn’t seem to be the exception to that rule.

The MDT is an abomination invested by hysterical ignoramus’s who don't attend games.

It should be scrapped, but it probably generates revenue for the forum which means more than that shit it contains.

#scrapthemdt.
That's a bit of a cuntish blanket statement.
40 years I'd been going before I gave my ticket up because of reasons..
The match thread gives those who aren't there , can't be there chance to be with other blues and converse during the match.

Massive blue you mate.

Didn't like them at all.

Rude arrogant cunts outside the ground. Glad we beat them. I'm not usually this annoyed at a team outside the red cartel.

The completely lunatic hatchet job being done on Jack by the MOTD resident neanderthal is astonishing. What is going on?

He did it on our whole team but gave Jack some special treatment. Pep.made eleven changes and Plymouth just parked a big fuck off bus. It was always going to be grim as those sort of games are unless we get a quick opener.

Plymouth had the loudest away support I’ve ever heard !! Gave me a bloody headache

I thought he was close to being MOTM today. Involved in everything, retained the ball well, strong in challenges and created quite a lot. That criticism of the team was ‘spiteful’.

A player rarely injured is worth 10 of those who can't finish a game.

Been watching long enough to know when a player just isn't worth it anymore, and recognise one who is worth retaining.

There are half a dozen who would be out the door before Bernardo for me.

We can't get rid of everyone at once.

Almost eight thousand should be able to create a decent racket. It was like a cup final to them after years in the doldrums. You can tell how much of a FOC I am, I was actually there in the league cup semi final second leg against Plymouth when we beat them 2-0 and 3-1 on aggregate.

Had we started with Haaland or Marmoush, and Savinho or Duke, we might well have been two or three up at half-time and cruising into the sixth round. That would have been my preferred option as we don't have a midweek game.
But we gave them a little bit of hope and then pissed on their matches.
Their fans were loud and I was surprised they got all of SS2. I was expecting City to have at least one block though that might have been due to more rows than usual being blocked off at the front of SS2. - Lots of dipper fans in Devon and you can't be too careful.
