Plymouth Argyle (H) | FA Cup | Post Match Thread

Mcatee, Foden and Bernado were poor, Gundogan and De Bruyne can no longer perform at the top level.

Impressed with Reis very solid and a good header of the ball, Grealish, O'Reilly, Lewis and Ake did OK.

Another injury to Ake looks like he might be put with Stones and Walker for an early exit.
Didnt realise Ake was injured, if Dias goes out again for a period we will be in trouble, kids not ready yet to take that on for the rest of the season.

De bruyne was the best player on the pitch second half.

Plymouth fans saying Manchester (one of Europe’s historically important and architecturally impressive cities) is a shithole need to have a good look at their own city. I’ve been there and I can confirm that it IS MOST DEFINITELY a shithole.
Yeah, I mean we can call Manchester a shithole, but they can jog on calling it ;-)

With Ake now out, would O'Reilly as inverted left back be a better option than Lewis. O'Reilly is stronger physically, defensive midfield is his more natural position and I see him more likely to get a tackle in.

Normal small club shite brainwashed by the media. That's why I have little time for other clubs or their fans. A few are alright here and there, Sunderland and I've had a good crack with Newcastle fans as well.
Sunderland and West Ham fans are usually sound.. believe it or not met a few Millwall fans on holiday and they were good lads..old school type late 50s early 60s

Typical small club fan base, they all have favourite Premier league teams. In Plymouth case its the 3 big red teams. . Spoke to a family outside who looked lost. Had a chat lovely people, very giddy and excited about the day which was nice. City needs to stop giving our loudest end to the opposition.

I’ve not been to Plymouth since we last played down there in the 80s. But my memory of the town centre is a complete concrete jungle fucking dump.

Although in fairness, it’s quite possible changed a bit in the near 40 years since I was there.

Grealish needs to play more, he has confidence to carry the ball, we need that atm.

Looks like his heads somewhere else, such a shame, great player.
Doesn’t score goals and rarely assists. Just keeps turning back. Need to sell him in the Summer but mark my words NOBODY will pay the wages. Will end up a loan with City paying half of his wages.

What people fail to see that whenever Jack gets the ball he always attracts 2-3 defenders so creating space for others. In truth he does not have the ability to take all of them so he drifts into midfield to make his passes. His work rate was good
But that doesn't help if the rest of our mob don't take advantage of the extra space.
