So have I got this right?
The cut price tickets have been offered to members of GMP, of which you are one?
And this has made you unhappy?

So City should withdraw the kind offer of cheap tickets to a game that is far from a sell out to men and women in public service, who sometimes put their lives on the line, so that you would feel happier SHB?

Perhaps City should just leave the seats empty and forget helping out hard pressed public servants. Seems about right.

Put it his way Squirty.

Your hard pressed public servant earns more than I do. Not only that, as a rule he or she can't be arsed turning up regardless of a match ticket discounts.

Carrot and stick, matey. :-)
I guess that may well depend on whether we are talking about the chief constable or perhaps one of the back office.
Regardless the point being made is City are offering this opportunity to a group of local workers, and students a poster as said, and not to the general public
The fact that SHB has missed out because he is one of the select group on this occasion is rather churlish and self centred, although I wonder how I would feel if the overweight, beer loving, squat genii were given cheaper tickets after I had already bought mine

And there lies the problem matey. We will never know.

But one thing is for sure. If those tickets weren't discounted, the said People wouldn't turn up, unlike you, me, and the other diehards.

As the chant used to go.........."Loyal Supporters!"<br /><br />-- Wed Nov 20, 2013 11:59 pm --<br /><br />

Personally I don't care about others
I bought my tickets in good faith as I wanted to go

Would people complain if they gave loads of free tickets to the local schools?

Do you think the 1894 group will resurrect that one? Cue deathly silence from the fifteen pound cheap seats.

Hahahaaaaaa.Yes with a chant to be aimed at `em "you`re not singing any more"

I went to Plzen away and it was fucking ace, spent next to fuck all and it was fucking ace. Calculating that against the £28 I paid for the home game, I'm in credit.

Fucking ace it was.

So having joined the cup schemes etc I thought I was getting a half decent deal. Have never slagged the club for pricing etc as I understand they have to make money however when I get in work this afternoon and find out that I could get tickets for £15 for Plzen and I have paid £28 I find it a little galling to say the least.
Surely this has to be brought up/highlighted or maybe it has.
It's not the price of £28 as I thpought that fine,it's the fact that any blue in the sports and social can buy a ticket for £15 which has annoyed me somewhat.
Years and years of loyalty apparently mean fuck all.
Just proves that we are seen as cash cows at times.

Why not price it at £15 for cup scheme members????

Unless I'm missing something the OS states....

Tickets for Wednesday 27 November’s Group Stage clash with Czech Republic Champions Viktoria Plzen, kick off 7.45pm, are priced from £17.50 for under 16s and from £33 for adults.

Same here, and dead rubber or not I'll still be there, because we've dreamed about playing at this level for over 3 decades, and I want to be part of it.
TBH I'm looking at it as a trip to the Christmas markets followed by a game
Really looking forward to the knockout now, although knowing my luck we'll be at home in the first lot of fixtures and I just booked a holiday on Monday
