I guess that may well depend on whether we are talking about the chief constable or perhaps one of the back office.
Regardless the point being made is City are offering this opportunity to a group of local workers, and students a poster as said, and not to the general public
The fact that SHB has missed out because he is one of the select group on this occasion is rather churlish and self centred, although I wonder how I would feel if the overweight, beer loving, squat genii were given cheaper tickets after I had already bought mine

And there lies the problem matey. We will never know.

But one thing is for sure. If those tickets weren't discounted, the said People wouldn't turn up, unlike you, me, and the other diehards.

As the chant used to go.........."Loyal Supporters!"

Personally I don't care about others
I bought my tickets in good faith as I wanted to go

Would people complain if they gave loads of free tickets to the local schools?

Funny you should mention that. Schools.

It's amazing where some of those free School match tickets can end up.

I'll leave it at that.

-- Thu Nov 21, 2013 12:45 am --

So having joined the cup schemes etc I thought I was getting a half decent deal. Have never slagged the club for pricing etc as I understand they have to make money however when I get in work this afternoon and find out that I could get tickets for £15 for Plzen and I have paid £28 I find it a little galling to say the least.
Surely this has to be brought up/highlighted or maybe it has.
It's not the price of £28 as I thpought that fine,it's the fact that any blue in the sports and social can buy a ticket for £15 which has annoyed me somewhat.
Years and years of loyalty apparently mean fuck all.
Just proves that we are seen as cash cows at times.

Why not price it at £15 for cup scheme members????

SHB pricing the tickets at £15 when we have paid £28 is just plain wrong.
There is no way people on the cup schemes should pay more.
The club are wrong in doing this and they should refund the difference or discount
the next match ticket purchased.
#together - my arse!

fantastic business model, alienate your loyal fans, and reward someone who puts nothing into the club.

amazes me people defend this kind of shit.

looks like they will need more people next season, as more sack the cup schemes.

This is my point and solely my point.Good luck to my colleagues who can get tickets for £15. What is wrong is to charge more to your mainstay fanbase, fans who have been through thick and thin ad shell out £1000's per year watching City home and away.
It's just a little galling.

If people sack the cup schemes they will be far down the line for the harder to get tickets, semi final, finals etc. I don't see the problem in trying to drum up support in this way. It's clear a lot of fans can't make it for whatever reason. I am happy that I have gained around 300 points for being in the CL scheme.

There is an easy solution. The Club knocks £13 off the next home round tickets for people who bought the bundle and fans who paid the full price for the three home group games.

Am I missing something? Just been on the website and it says tickets from £33 for adults which is what they always were.

You do know that these £15 tickets have been discounted to Greater Manchester Police, who are also members of thier sports and social club?! So there will not be thousands of supporters that have paid more than you mate!!

£15 tickets are not on general sale - They are £33 on the website!!!
