Paul released a statement co-signed by his mother, saying that Mattias Pogba was part of a gang who have been blackmailing Pogba for €13m threatening to release a video of him getting a witch doctor to put a curse on Kylian Mbappé.

Phillipe Auclair said on the Guardian podcast yesterday that this has been going on since March, and at one point members of the gang have threatened Pogba with shotguns trying to elicit the blackmail money, and he's paid €85,000 to them so far to keep them at arms length.
