I agree, we miss out on a top CM and I don't think we will win the title this season. Just my thoughts though.
 
Nasri is certainly not the answer rather he is one of the reason behind our midfield issues. Absolutely mind blowing that we haven't signed a quality CM.

Hope you're wrong too but I don't think you are.

Addressing our CM is what is most needed if we're to get on a more even level to Real, Barca, Bayern, which is what this transfer window should be all about. Signing Sterling and De Bruyne is all well and good but they're not going to be helpful if they never get the ball in these games.
CM is the most important part of your team at the very top end of European football. Juventus got to the final based on having a really good CM. We already have better attackers than Juve even before RS+(potentially) KDB. We need to upgrade our CM desperately. So far we haven't.
 
Im fucking worried if we leave midfield as it is and Pogba is seen as some sort of "bonus" signing by the board. Lets hope this is not the case, we need top quality in CM position, Pogba or someone else.
 
I've always thought Pogba was a non starter even when all the press were constantly linking us to him. To put all our eggs in one basket and not have an alternative would be very naive to say the least. I wonder what Khaldoon is thinking at this moment in time, as his words " there will be top class individuals signing " hasn't really materialised yet besides Sterling.

I hope our window isn't over, because I feel there's quite a few positions to be solved yet.
 
Axel Witsel, Aleksandar Mitrović, Marco Veratti are all viable option, maybe not on Pogbas level, but an improvement on what we have DM wise
 
missing out on pogba would be gutting (if we do ) but also with standable as it was always going to be a very difficult transfer to pull off so it would be unfair to blame the powers at be.

HOWEVER - to not have an alternative/plan b for that scenario would be negligence and something that txixi et al should be held fully accountable for (if this is the case).

Mitrovic just signed for Newcastle and is a striker. I know we were bad today but surely fernando isn't THAT bad

yeah I meant his serbian teamate Ljubomir Fejsa at benfica no idea why I mixed them up they were next to each other in the list I copied the spelling from so probably that
