Pogba Suspended | Faces Potential Ban for Anti-Doping Violation

My god this guy is badly advised. Just fucking get your team to pull out a tainted supplement excuse and take the 6 month ban. Unbelievable he offered no mitgation whatsoever.

BBC Sport with the gentlest-possible criticism of a talent wasted. Could you imagine them writing something anywhere near this toothless about a Blue?

Paul Pogba doping ban: The end for Juventus and France star and what should have been? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68440315

Also, note the mention of the rags paying a world-record fee for him, but no mention of the fact that they let him go for free to Juve.

I'd be interested to see the reasoning behind a 4 year ban. Seems very excessive.

I think a lot of the higher profile cases have been for things like cocaine and other recreational drugs.

Whereas a drug taken to raise testosterone levels, are by definition, performance enhancing and naturally treated more seriously.

Other people who’ve received lesser bans have also had mitigating factors. Usually that they were badly advised by doctors. Or even that they were completely unaware that the drugs were being administered.

From the little I’ve heard, Pogba has offered no mitigation and is sticking with the Shaggy defence of..… It wasn’t me, for the moment.
