Point gained or two dropped?

Arsenal weren't "there for taking". They are very strong at home and were probably hoping to put things right after Wigan. It could be that we were there for taking after the result last week.

We've drawn away at Arsenal. Not a reason for getting the champagne out but no reason for doom and gloom.

113 Home games for Arsenal and only 7 defeats. The last time we won there, Brian Kidd was playing for them. The last City player to score at the Emirates was Demarcus Beasley.

Vital game for us and needed to ensure we avoided defeat. Point won for me.

What an idiot.

How old are you, pal, just out of interest?
My first game was Bert Trautmann's testimonial in 1964. That answer your question? I've been watching for over 45 years and I've seen some shite but cowardice I can never forgive.
What on earth are you going on about, anyone with an ounce of sense would realise that it was a great point we earned, especially as one poster said earlier, that when Given got injured we had to shut up shop to protect our young GK. I sit next to someone like you... no doubt you were moaning when we scored 14 in 3 games. I'm sure you come on here to wind people up!

What are you on about? A point at this stage is huge. If we draw against Villa next week and win against Spurs and WH it will be down to goal difference, where we currently have the edge. If we'd have lost today and that same scenario would happen we'd be out of it.
A point is neither one thing nor the other. We still have to win all three remaining games and would have done if we'd lost.

Correct!!!..Its all down to what people think will be enough at the end of game 38. I just happen to think that we should try and beat teams as games unfold and it becomes clear we have a good chance of gaining all the points. Liverpool away was another example this season. We need to be able to adapt! Goforglory you mention maybe a point against villa would perhaps be enough? We need to beat villa and spuds mate. Maybe change your name to goforadraw! ho ho. Anyway i aint going off on one..were still in it and goingforglory!!

Exactly this^^^!

I've lost count of how many posts are sayin we played for a draw and now they think we have to win all 3..! F..F..S..!

I'll say it again... what you mention, although the truth, does not suit some posters views on here, so you'll never get them to admit it.

Ha ha...! and if that means changing the laws of basic maths, then so be it..

yeller, cowids, damm pesky yeller bellies the lot of em.

Hughes would have secured 3 rd place and thats a fact

Its a disgrace, we are used to more and better than this. Lets kick up a fuss and whine like bitches........yyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaghhhhhhhh

Great display today from the lads (and yes I mean the manager too) For those expecting all 3 points, consider what that means in terms of expectation under Mancini. Coming away from the emirates with a point is a fantastic achievement which, incidentally, assures we will be playing European football next season. It will also shape how we and others approach the last games of the season, stop underestimating its value.

Point gained if it was mid season but we needed all three today. Spurs and Villa have nothing to fear if we go against them with these tactics. No shots on goal all game is a shocking statistic. Spurs would've crushed Arsenal today.

They didn't even crush Arsenal at home 2 weeks ago.
