It might be "fair", but I don't think it will stop people buying tickets with their own points and selling the tickets on. We all know it goes on now, we probably do it for our own mates sometimes, so how would putting it on a 10 year rolling period stop that ? I can't see how.
What is wrong though is people posting on the ticket forum "I'm not going, so PM me and I can order for you" for certain games, which is why we've discussed it as far as Bluemoon is concerned, and decided we won't allow posts like that, we know it won't stop people doing it, but at least we're not encouraging it.
I would have loved to go to Madrid, and easily have the points, but due to a schoolboy error on my part, my passport won't be available. If one of my mates asks me if he can use my card I will oblige, but otherwise I won't be buying, even though I could.

Or some random stranger on BM.
I dont understand why so many people are so keen to offer it without being asked. I have seen ticket threads where people are offering the use of their card before anyone has even asked. To me that can only be for the points. Why would anyone care whether some random person gets a ticket or not.
Why not just let the system sort itself out.
If you have to do it then why not just PM the person who is asking at the time they ask. Blatantly advertising your card before being directly asked to me is out of order.
As moderators we have discussed this and its no longer happening, and the Madrid thread has been tidied up. We had a few concerns about it, one of them being the potential for scammers taking the piss.
