Just been woken up to a Cop pulling over two lads on bmx bikes at 1:45am
He keeps them for awhile as he runs a check on their names.
Then he searches them both.
A simple unzipping of their coats, doesn't check their pockets, neither does he pat down their pants and checks what could be stashed in their boxershorts.

Then he let's them free to roam on their bikes.
I'm no Sherlock Holmes but WTF are two lads who both live on the other side of Bury doing around here at this time?
They are on the graft....

And if not grafting then carrying something they shouldn't be.

Shit policemen who just can't be assed with the paperwork and more interested in their late night McDonald's

Got robbed on the train after a night out about 2 months ago. Brand new iphone and wallet gone! Found out the prick who stole them used my bank card to buy $100 worth of stuff at a servo just after the robbery. Asked the police to check the train footage and service station footage (I told them the exact time the transaction took place).

All they had to do was drive 5 mins down the road to check the footage....instead they couldn't be bothered meaning some scum got away with my phone, wallet and $100 of my own money. Cost me hundreds to replace everything. I don't live in a high crime area so it's not like they would have been busy solving a murder or anything.

If I was as shit at my job as they were at theirs, I would be fired.

My wife was in the local supermarket last night and the local plod (I clearly live in a town where fuck all happens) was walking around the car park and objected to my City ''car scarf'' and ''Champions 12'' and ''16 Aguero'' mini shirts all hung in the rear window.

Apparently they were deemed to be ''blocking the rear view'', so she took then down.
I put them back up this morning.

A police officer has powers to stop and search you if they have ‘reasonable grounds’ to suspect you’re carrying:

illegal drugs
a weapon
stolen property
something which could be used to commit a crime, eg a crowbar

Exactly,so how does the OP know the exact circumstances and the extent of the officers powers in relation to this incident?

He may have had legit reasons,however,he might also have been pushing the boundaries by the actions he did display?

I gotta good searching when i was 18 going through Manchester airport.

with the family going on me jols and walked through that thing you do know problem then gotta sharp tug on my arm and was told i looked shifty.
